Instructions
1. Prepare the Crunch
If using toasted shredded kataifi, lightly crush it into small pieces. If using shredded wheat cereal, crush into small flakes.
2. Mix the Filling
In a bowl, combine:
• 2 cup crumbled leftover cake
• A few tablespoons crushed kataifi or shredded wheat
• 5 tablespoons pistachio frosting
Mix until everything is evenly combined and holds together when pressed. If it feels too dry, add a little more frosting. If too soft, add a bit more cake crumbs.
3. Chill (Optional but Recommended)
Refrigerate the mixture for 20–30 minutes. This makes it easier to roll and helps the cake pops hold their shape.
4. Roll into Balls
Scoop about 1–2 tablespoons of mixture and roll into smooth balls. Place them on a lined tray.
5. Coat in Chocolate
Melt 1–1½ cups chocolate until smooth. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, coating completely. Let excess drip off, then place back on parchment paper.
Optional: Sprinkle chopped pistachios or drizzle white chocolate before the coating sets.
6. Set & Serve
Let the chocolate harden at room temperature or refrigerate for about 15 minutes until set.
Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4–5 days.
These Dubai-inspired chocolate cake pops are rich, crunchy, and totally addictive. Perfect for parties, Ramadan trays, or just when you want something a little extra ✨
