🍫 How to Make Easy Homemade Peanut Butter Cups
1. Make the Peanut Butter Filling
In a bowl, mix the peanut butter with 1 cup powdered sugar first. If you want it firmer (more like Reese’s texture), slowly mix in up to ½ cup more until the mixture turns into a soft, rollable dough.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and set aside.
2. Create the Chocolate Base
Spoon about 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into each cupcake liner. This becomes the base of your peanut butter cups.
3. Add the Peanut Butter Center
Place a peanut butter ball onto the chocolate base. Press gently so it sinks in slightly.
4. Cover With More Chocolate
Top each cup with another 1–1½ teaspoons of melted chocolate, covering the peanut butter completely.
Tap the tray gently to smooth out the tops.
5. Chill Until Firm
Refrigerate for 20–25 minutes or freeze for 10–15 minutes, until the chocolate is fully hardened.
🍬 Enjoy!
Peel off the liners and enjoy your creamy, sweet, chocolatey Easy Homemade Peanut Butter Cups.
