Instructions
1. Prep the Pastry Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into even squares. Place half of the squares on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
2. Make the Filling In a bowl, mix the kataifi with the pistachio butter until fully combined. The mixture should be thick and spreadable.
3. Assemble the Pop Tarts Spoon the pistachio mixture into the center of each pastry square, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with another puff pastry square. Use a fork to seal the edges, then gently poke holes on top to allow steam to escape.
4. Bake Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before icing.
5. Make the Chocolate Icing Whisk together powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Add corn syrup and milk a little at a time until you get a smooth, pourable icing.
6. Ice & Enjoy Spoon or drizzle the chocolate icing over the cooled pop tarts. Let the icing set, then enjoy every flaky, chocolate-pistachio bite 🤍🍫
